From March 31 to April 3 of 2014 Barcelona will host the largest international food fair “Alimentaria 2014” , which will become a meeting place for professionals in the sector of food and beverages from around the world . Apart from European countries , Alimentaria 2014 conducted an active campaign in Asia, the U.S. and Latin America , in order to ensure the presence of representatives of world and the main participants in the food market in the event. Thus, the fair Alimentaria 2014 will feature more than 50 international companies, which makes the fair the biggest event of the food sector at the global level.
During the exhibition, Alimentaria 2014 will also be organized the 8,000 business meetings between participants and international representative, both producers and food buyers. Thematic conferences and round tables will also be an important part of the fair Alimentaria 2014 in Barcelona. The real surprise and novelty this year will be a gastronomic show called “The Alimentaria Experience”, which is an interactive, innovative cooking show featuring over 40 best chefs of modernity , which together have 50 Michelin stars. Among them , Joan Roca, Carme Ruscalleda, Pedro Subijana and Martín Berasategui.
